Day 1 - Temples and Town

Ancient Hindu temple on Swami Rock with morning prayers and fewer crowds. Check out the archaeological museum displaying artifacts from the original temple.
Fort Frederick and Naval Museum
Explore the Dutch fort and its maritime museum with ship models and naval artifacts. The fort walls offer good views of the natural harbour.
Uppuveli Beach
Relax on the sandy beach and explore beach bars along the strip. Good spot for sunset and watching traditional fishing boats return with their catch.
Day 2 - Marine Life and Paradise Beach
Whale Watching Tour
Boat trip to observe blue whales and sperm whales in deep waters off Trincomalee. March to August offers the best sighting chances with calmer seas.
Pigeon Island National Park
Snorkel around coral reefs and spot reef sharks, sea turtles, and tropical fish. The island has two sections with different coral formations to explore.
Nilaveli Beach
Wide white sand beach with crystal clear water, less developed than Uppuveli. Good for swimming and has several beachfront restaurants for dinner.
