Galle Fort & Stilt Fishermen Tour

Approximately 2-3 kilometers of walking on mostly flat cobblestone streets and some steps on the ramparts. The pace is leisurely with plenty of stops for photos and rest.

The fishermen demonstrate traditional techniques still used today, though many now pose primarily for tourists. It's part cultural experience, part photo opportunity with genuine local interaction.

Morning visits offer cooler temperatures and better lighting for photography. Avoid midday heat by starting early, and late afternoon provides golden hour lighting on the fort walls.
