Sigiriya Rock Fortress Day Trip

The climb involves 1,200 steps with steep sections and metal staircases. Requires moderate fitness level and takes approximately 90 minutes up and down. Not recommended for those with heart conditions or severe vertigo.

Modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is required at Dambulla Cave Temples. Remove shoes before entering caves. Bring socks as floors can be rough on bare feet.

Minimum age is 12 years due to the challenging Sigiriya climb. Children must be accompanied by adults and physically capable of completing the full ascent safely.
